Believe the requested change to Sunday alcohol sales will bring new business, and keep existing businesses, in Pace and Milton. If folks want alcohol, that's their choice, and if we prohibit Sunday sales at restaurants, these businesses will not come to the north part of the county, and existing businesses have closed due to the restriction. Let's keep the revenue in our county and foster economic growth with a change to this law. Thank you.

Meiss should study his city more if he wants to remove the stars and bars from six flags. Our city has a strong history from the civil war. Maybe he should start by researching senator Jackson Morton. Or Beards raid 1862. I don't know what flags he wants to replace them with. But if he removes them he will loose all respect from me and my family who live on property that is full of civil war history. Consider him to loose respect just as much as "Bubba Watson" did painting over the general Lee. No where in the dukes of Hazzard was the flag used for anything other than representation of the civil war hence the name general lee. And never has the six flags seal been used in an inappropriate way or was it ever intended to be. Guy Thompson would never stand for this. Wesley Meiss is not an appropriate candidate for mayor.

There seems to be a lack of involvement and availability to improve the sport of cheer leading by current recreation directors. The past two years have been better but as of this summer no one is available and parents are avoided. Parents are available to help. For the past two years a committee has assisted with coordination of activities such as preparation for the up coming seasons. I propose a separation of cheer from football. This would offer more time dedicated to each sport for our children. I just see our cheer leaders being put on the back burner and this is a great concern for me.

All parents want their child to be active, have fun And able to be themselves. A lot of children here ages 5-18 want to have somewhere to BE THEMSELF! Opening up a Boys and Girls Club Of America will have tremendous impact for our future LEADERS! Having this funded by our city children can come here and play after school, in summer, on holidays. The Boys and Girls Club is free! Basketball courts, Soccer fields baseball/Softball fields! Boxing rings. Even educational purposes! Learning what they don’t teach you in school. Also having counselors and psychiatrists on site all times of day, to help children if they have a bad home life and just want to get away ! This will be the place to come. Open 24/7 providing children with breakfast lunch and dinner. If a child is a runaway and they come here they can’t get in trouble because they came to a safe space. We need to look out for our children. Give them a space to love.
