Press Release - Dogwood Drive Suspicious Person Shot

Milton, Fla. –  On 9/18/2022 at approximately 6:50 PM, the City of Milton Police Department responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 5500 block of Dogwood Drive.

A male subject was confronted in the backyard of a home in this area.  According to a witness statement, the suspicious person charged at the homeowner and was shot by the homeowner.  The suspicious person was taken to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
